About

About

I provide individual and family therapy to adults and adolescents who are experiencing distress due to transitions in some aspect of their life, whether it is a changing role, experiencing loss, health problems or relationship difficulties. I approach problems from a BioPsychoSocial perspective, which takes into account all of the factors in one’s life and how they might contribute to – and help to SOLVE – problems. In addition to focusing on difficult transitions, I have a special focus on co-parenting after divorce and “failure to launch” issues.

I have a warm and directive style. I do not just sit and listen. I will offer support, encouragement and ask questions that will help lead you to finding answers to the difficulties you are facing. I want to join with you and be on your team to help you deal with the problem areas you are facing. Whether you are experiencing depression, anxiety, sleep or appetite problems, relationship difficulties, trouble planning ahead or just feeling stuck, I am here to help you reduce symptoms and increase enjoyment and feelings of productiveness.
